Location - simply perfect so close to the beach and boardwalk, the Boardwalk and restaurants on Front Street, and Rio Vista Suites. Well organised and responsive staff onsite.

That was lovely old and luxury hotel set in pretty nice area, just off downtown, the wharf, and the Boardwalk, Santa Cruz and beach and restaurants. I appreciated the Victorian-style building and modern room with a/c. The staff was exceptionally nice, pleasant all the time. The venue had a central location and it was close to a historic carousel. The restaurant had freshly cooked food.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the showers were amazing. The check-in staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel had a lovely area out front where you could relax on the furniture. The location was great, with free parking and Wi-Fi. The rooms were spotless and nicely upgraded, while still retaining the charm of the original architecture. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including cereals, toast, bagels, and fresh juice. The staff, especially Neil at the front desk, provided awesome customer service.

As women traveling alone, we appreciated the helpful staff, free parking, and complimentary water and sodas. The location was convenient and the room was clean and well-equipped with modern amenities and a gas fireplace.

Felt like a true getaway, no reason to complain.
